The people of the Maze community have always been fond of symmetrical and/or geometrical patterns, as seen through the elaborate hand-embroidery on the Consus coasters. These cotton-crafted, octagonal coasters draw inspiration from the Maze culture where people worshipped for good harvests or a ‘Consus’.
